Thank you Doug**2 (Bradley, Cline) for your offers of winch instruction. I will be there at 9 or before and will take as many launches as it takes and more, also am willing and anxious to get checked out driving the winch. As an old "winch hand" I can assure those members who haven't done it yet (a majority) that although a bit intimidating at first sight it actually is an extremely safe way to launch, in some ways safer than aerotow. Hope to see plenty of people getting into it!! Good idea to reveiw the section of our OPS manual relating to winch launching first to save time on the field.

PS I will post my weekend weather fantasy (ooops I meant forecast) tomorrow.

: can instruct winch tows in the Blanik. I
: plan on getting to DSV about 9am, being
: ready to start tows hopefully by 9:45am and
: run winch tows for about 3 hours depending
: on demand and the need to aero tow for the
: XC clinic. Please let me know if you wish to
: participate so that Doug and I can plan the
: morning activities.
