Late day flying on Sunday was very interesting. Reasonable 3.5kt lift along streets but with 2 – 3 miles of nothing between them as you went cross-wind. There was a 3,000’ base difference between clouds over DSV (5,000) and Swain (8,000) which gave me the best altitude of the flight. From Swain I managed to make the south end of Silver Lake, up to Hanna’s and back to DSV without really needing to circle. I arrived back at DSV with over 3,000’ in the bank and landed at the end of my hour. The Pegasus flies very well and I'm sure FLSC cross-country pilots will enjoy the capability.
