The BLIP Maps didn't account for the high Cirrus that came in over the area and killed the lift. I initially was able to get up to 4,000 ft. MSL after the tow but the Cirrus filled in and I then spent the next 40 minutes struggling to stay up. There were little tiny patches of lift which I couldn't work to gain any altitude. Maybe the lift patches could be worked in a 1-26 but not in my 304. Turned out to be good day for students with a 2-5 knot wind down Runway 32.
