The FLSC Board determined that Tow Fees must be increased for the 2008 Season. The tow rate was increased by $3/1000 ft. Therefore, the tow fees went from $12/100 ft to $15/1000 ft. A 2000 ft tow will now cost $30.
The Ride Cost was increased from $60 to $70 and the 3 Flight Instructional Package went from $120 to $140.
The Junior Tow Fee went up to $6.25 per tow.
These increases were needed because the FLSC Operational Income did not meet the Operational Expenses. The cost of Aviation Fuel has doubled since the last increase in 2006. There is a historic gap between our average maintenance costs and our operational income. The fee increases are an attempt to close this gap.
All other fees reamin the same.
