I'm sad to say that my father Bruce was killed in Alaska last weekend while flying for his friends fishing lodge. Weather was good and the autopsy showed no definitive sign of medical problems. The plane was found 7 miles from the lodge in a 45 deg pitch down attitude buried deeply in the ground after an obviously high speed impact. NTSB is investigating. Hopefully they'll get the aircraft back to anchorage for detailed examination soon before the snow hits.
Life will continue as best it can here at Estrella without our leader.
