Tom Roberts has been working on the Pawnee with Doug Roberts and Steve Kronquest for the past few weeks. Jesse Sullivan scheduled to go shortly to put electronics back together, Carbureator is re-built, fuselage has been uncovered and painted and magnifluxed (?) or whatever you call the dye crack detector, Chuck Taft has rebuilt the frame for the window, the battery has been moved to just aft of the seat to starboard, older type starter re installed, alternator installed, and fabric is being applied presently. I just spent saturday sanding the fiberglass and metal parts that needed it, and there is about an inch thick coating on the bottom of the wings from over filling oil sump that gets blown out of the crankcase. Anyone want the job?
Plan is to paint the fuselage screaming yellow with red trim. Can't wait. It was fun with Charlie McInerny day. JR
