Sad to hear of Lee Bernardis

I was sad to hear of the passing of Lee Bernardis. I have looked on the SSA websire under Final Glide and have NOT found anything written about Lee. Many of us remember Lee not only for the title “iron pants” but also for his running ropes during the Region 3 Contests. Can someone write a little biography of his life for SOARING? He will be missed by many at the next Region 3 Contest!
