You're right, my groundschool for my Flight Instructor Glider addition to my Powered Aircraft CFI Certification was many moons ago as given to me by the Staff of the Schweizer Soaring School for whom I had just begun working as a Demonstration Pilot and Tow Pilot with my CFIG Flight Test given to me by Charley O'Neill, the FSDO Chief in a two part Flight Test: At the School, over Harris Hill in one of the brand new 2-33s and the second part at Dansville in the Dansville Soaring Clubs KA-7 demonstrating proficiency at Auto Pully Operations-in the Summer of 1975 at the same time Ed began his Glider Pilots Ground School. So, as long as it doesn't cost me anything, I'm glad to be refreshed on Dave's Ground Instruction on just what budding Sailplane Pilots need to know to pass all their Tests. So Sign me up. 8 to 4 this Saturday at the Old Madrid. Keep Smiling, Jon

: Pass your FAA written 1st time
: guaranteed! Not only that you will get
: smart in the ways of what the FAA thinks is
: important stuff to know for survival as a
: glider pilot. So you get educated in two
: ways. First you learn what the FAA thinks
: is important, and that is no fringe benefit,
: and second, you get to find out what the
: intricacies of the imprtant things are. You
: know the exam is mined with trick questions,
: and now you cna hear how to out trick the
: trickster, and get smart in the process.
: Ed Seymour started this course 30 years
: and more ago, designed to track the exam as
: closely as scholarship and discernment can
: do it, So TAKE THE COURSE, Tom Roberts
: did, Jim Rizzo did, and my guess is that
: Doug Cline did too. The Only reason Bob
: Bianco did not take it is that he has been
: out of town for 30 years (or out of
: gliding). Vanderhoof took it whether he
: know it or not, so why dont you took it? JR
