Posted by Risa on 4/28/2003, 7:01 pm, in reply to "weight management" I think it is important that you are interested in keeping your weight up. I think it is more important on how you feel rather than how you look but we are all vain to some extent and we always like to look our best. If we look good then we feel much better. Exercising with weights will keep your muscle mass toned and you might look bigger even if you do not weigh more and conversely if you workout more, muscle weighs more than fat so you might start putting on the weight with working out. You will also increase your appetite by exercise. I eat small meals throughout the day and even when I am not hungry I tell myself to keep snacking. I try to have protein some carbs and a little healthy fat with each snack or meal. If you are tired in the morning get up earlier and try to eat a good breakfast then go back to bed if you need to. If you are the kind of person that is tired to cook in the morning then try preparing extra food the night before to snack in the morning for your breakfast do you like hummus? That is chickpeas mashed up and it is filled with fiber and tons of vitamins. Eating this with whole grain bread is good in the morning. If you like eggs that is important. Sometimes I eat just to eat so I can keep the weight on. Try to think of each calorie as money in the bank. For each calorie you are receiving interest and the more interest the better God Bless
