Posted by Jose on 4/27/2003, 9:59 pm My question now is over the past months, I've been eating a lot better, thanks to Harvey. Mostly grains, rice, veggies, fruits, fish. And also walking a lot. But I've noticed I've dropped a few pounds over the past months. Something I dont really like to do because I'm already thinner since getting the transplant and dont want to be scrawny. I'm 6'2 and used to weigh 180lbs post transplant over the last 5 months or so I'm down to 170lbs and from the looks of things may be going lower. Should I be eating more? I do get hungry more often since the fruits, veggies and fish arent really heavy like meats. If so, what should I add? What do you guys do?
Just wanted to ask you guys how you keep your weight constant. I didnt have a problem with it post transplant. But then, right after the kidney transplant I wasnt too active and eating lots of stuff. I've never had weight problems before, and I'm one of those people who can eat a lot and not gain much weight.
