JT, I agree with Dottie, you have to listen to your body and obey the doctors.
I had several setbacks with cardiac arrest in 2000,while running at local track. The fall put 50 stitches in my face, very little heart rate.Thirteen days in the hospital and implanted pacmaker, I ran in 10Krun 6 weeks later, but my doctors told me to go for it.I ran 55:56.After World Games in Japan, diagnosed with Lymphoma(side effect), I actual ran and walked while taking chemo, but again doctors approval. Six months later I ran in US Games and was pleased with my results. I have been fortuante especially being on minimum immunosuppressant drugs.
Never day is a new day and I try to better myself everyday.
