As I finished my last post I realized I wanted to suggest something that has helped me alot-in good times and in bad.
The art of meditation has been around for many, many years and takes on many different roles-ways.
I practice pilates and yoga weekly but try to take at least five minutes a day-try to start of in the morning but also find myself needing to do it during a stressful or/and hectic time.
It can be anywhere-on a beautiful day under a tree, on a stack of yoga pillows(my favorite place, on the floor of your favorite room, find a quiet space at work..even if it has to be the bathroom-I know alot of "busy" moms that have their time in the bathtub-wherever you can, try to take 5-10 minutes for yourself to sit in a comfortable position, open your arms and self up with palms facing to the ceiling. Concentrate on your breathing-focus on slowing it down and connecting your breath to your body-also can concentrate on(what my husband likes to do) your heart beat and pulse from your toes up-think only good thoughts and focus on you-I hope you all find time to be good to yourself everyday! You are worth it,
Dottie
