Hi Guys,
Well, its April 4th and snowing again in new england...yuck! All ready for spring..a little hard to do hill sprints and cycling with snow and ice
Although my determined husband does!!
After alot of soul searching again-ive decided to forgo the world games(although will definitely be at next years us games) and have put my main focus on a upcoming Fitness contest in July(something always wanted to do) this contest is something im proud oof as the focus is not just on your body and routine -its focus is on strength through a military abstacle course, strentgh round(6 different strength moves) and physique round. I will begin specific training and also attend a training camp in arizona in may. Now i am just focusing on abuilding up a solid base after recovering from kidney tx-its also been a tough winter here-everyone has been sick with repitory viruses-ive had 2 which is unusual for me-getting stronger and excited to have a positive focus and goal-I suggest you all pick one exciting and challanging goal for the summer and it will help you on your day to day fitness. I am still planning on the sprint triathln but they will be after the fitness competition and mayb in sept/oct-so i have alot of positive things going on and working on a couple business ideas also.I will keep you updated and want you all tyo do the same. I will be trying to write at least every other day and look forward to hearing how each of your training is going-how are you all doing on nutrition-that does play a huge role in how your training will go-you need the proper fuel for your body-let me know if any of you need help or have questions with your nutrition. Wishing you all a bunch of health and happiness,
Dottie
