Dottie, I understand about the World Games, really was excited about meeting the "legend". It`s really funny, mentioning your father at 68, well I`m soon 66, but feel 35, ran 4 miles of hills today and am progressing in my training.I stay aware of injuries, hoping they want come around.
I will be running the 400m and 800m at the US Masters in Hampton, Va 5/26-5/31
I qualifed last September to represent Georgia.I was first transplant to qualify for the Nationals. These people I will be competing against, some never been in the hospital.
I would like to run 3:25 in 800m and 1:15 in 400m, I MIGHT win a medal, it`s tough!!
I really think about you a lot, you have been through so much, but time is good medicine and I know you will be their soon, I will be pulling and praying for your complete recovery. It`s like running the "race", the closer the finish line the stronger you get.
