The packets for the games have been received and I am sure everyone is training and preparing to do their best.
I will be running the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and golf.
I was unaware of the transplant games before my tx and really felt like the challenge of competing, training and meeting friends set a standard for my post transplant healthcare. It does give you a unbelieveable feeling to realize that you are in the best health and feel better since 1983.
Today, I ran 7 miles and when I hit the 5 mile marker,I had the runners high,it`s a feel when certain chemicals in your brain expells and causes a condition where you don`t even feel the legs or breathing, it`s another world, cruising on air. Unfortuantely the time fame is short.
Just wanted to vent, hope everyone is feeling good and happy.
