I want everyone to know that since I started increasing my exercise program 3 months ago, my creatine, which has been 1.7 or 1.8 for a year now, dropped to 1.5 with this month's labs. I am anxious to see what my cholesterol is doing - it rose 100 points from the Rapamune, which was started a year ago, but am hoping to lower that and raise the HDL with exercise. Will let you all know. My creatinine has not been below 1.7 since November 2001 when I had the fibrosis show up on my kidney from the Prograf. This is exciting to me and just convinces me even more that a steady program of exercise is helpful to the health of the kidney. That and at least 62 oz. of water daily to keep it hydrated.
