Good for you, Dottie. Glad to hear you are back on the treadmill so soon. It took me a while to wake up to exercise, but at 2-1/2 years out, I finally did. I always exercised, but didn't push myself. After reading on this board, hearing about Harvey, etc. I went to my treadmill and took the challenge. Have worked up to an hour a day at 4 mph. Not a run, but a fast walk. I can definitely notice the difference. When I used to climb the stairs, my legs would hurt. They no longer hurt. I golf 18 holes and due to constant rain, you have to walk most of the course, so am able to do that. People who are not transplants were grumbling about that, but I felt like a kid on a Pogo stick! For all you transplants out there, this is definitely the way to go. I am just sorry I didn't start immediately. If I were contemplating a transplant today, I would be spending a lot of time working out before the transplant. Good luck on your New Years run. Jan
