Posted by Mika There are a tonne of places you can fish from shore around here. Thats what I prefer. Depending on what species you want to catch, right now you could go to mouth of any river on Superior and catch rainbows(smelts are running too right now)Fall steel head fishing is great in all of the bigger rivers just north of town. Any way thats a few spots you could hit, if you have any more questions about fishing I would be happy to give you my opinion

Hey Scott,
If you ever go to station mall, the river you see there is the St. Mary's. Go under the bridge around the locks, and you could probably catch any species you want if your there at the right time of year. Coldwater creek, or the big culvert located on old garden river road always has fish in it. Trout and salmon
