Fishin in Cushing lake area

I'm going up to Cushing Lake in a few weeks and I'm wondering how the Walley fishing has been so far? Last year we fished a little south of Cushing and Maze Bay, in the Mille Lacs area. Any report would be helpful. Thanks!
