I was there on Friday with two buds, and frankly found it a bit slow. Between us we landed one white, one pike, and 3 perch. At least the fish were a decent size -- the whitefish was around 3 lbs, and two of the perch were nice humpbacks, maybe the biggest perch I've seen. Normally I'd keep perch that size, but I just didn't feel like cleaning fish that day, so everything went back. Saw the odd burb and pike, but disappointed that I saw only one whitefish all day -- usually Brownlow's has better action. Nothing in my tackle box seemed to draw them in.
Funny, I caught a big humpback perch on a bare wireworm, didn't tip it with any bait.
