It was bright and clear when we left Calgary, but north of Red Deer the fog set in and lasted until mid pm. The two of us managed a mixed bag of about 10 perch (none keepers), 2 pike (both released), 1 burbot (released) and 3 whitefish (2 currently in the smoker!). Boy do those single person huts heat up once the spring sun hits them - I couldn't stand it for more than 10 minutes at a time! The ice is holding up well but the NE exit point is starting to get a little rough - particularly getting off later in the day.
Good fishing!
