Hello & thank you for your time. I am very desparately seeking any and all information,about a family who seems never to have existed,apart from passanger manifest for when my grandpa and his parents & sibs made a trip to the U.S.My grandfather was named Ernst Herbert Fuhrmann,born 8-2-1906,in Elbing,Germany,to parents Edward ? Fuhrmann born sometime in 1875,and a woman whose name was Anna ? Fuhrmann, born sometime in 1873.In addition to my grandfather,Ernst,Edward and Anna also had the following children,all born presummable,in Elbing:Kurt.born 1908......Alfred..born 1911 and Lisbeth (this erson may actually have been a niece living with the family,rather then a daughter?) born 1903.In 1923,the family made a trip to the U.S., leaving out of Le Havre France,on a ship called Suffren,and going to the port of N.Y.where they arrived in early November.My grandfather Ernst,was at that time,17 years of age.At some point all or some of the family were in Clayton Mossouri there is a name of an unkle given there in Clayton.His name was Julius. I have no other info about this man either,except that he may have had a daughter by the name of Rose Fuhrmann.Later,Rose Kronsburg.Only my grandfather Ernst (Ernie) remained in the States though,and what ever happened to the rest of the family is not known.It's been said that my grandfathers brother Kurt may have been in the German military during WW2.The only other name I have would be someone by the name of Ursula Von Gross,and i'm not real sure where she fits in to the picture..possibly an aunt? I do have information reguarding Ernst such as his marriage,children,and death.But sadly No information for any of the others either priar to,or after that trip they made to the States in 1923.IF THERE IS ANYONE WHO KNOWS OF,OR HAS ANY INFORMATION WHICH CAN HELP,I WOULD BE MORE GRATEFUL THEN WORDS CAN SAY FOR THEIR INPUT OR HELP.....I may be contacted at the following e-mail address:missymousey03@yahoo.com
