I JUST came across your message! Samuel Corson was also an adopted son of Fred and Lizzie Corson, as was my father.But, My father was never legally adopted. He was taken in as a "state child" and given the Corson name. Fred and Lizzie were known to take in Foster children.
Yes, Samuel did then have a son called Fred, who continued to live on Vine St., and raised a family there, I think. I never really knew any of them, but was aware growing up that my father had some sort of non biological " cousin" living there. I grew up on Stone St. in Saugus. I'm hoping that I might find some fact that will lead me to more info about my father's biological parents, Ralph and margaret Morrison Smith. It's quite a mystery! Thank-you for your response!
