Sooooooooo great to hear from you!! Might be just what I needed to get busy again. Ok, if I understood you right we share the same great great grandpa Clayburne(Claybern) L. Purkey. From what I understand he was married 3 times and fathered 12 children. Quite the lover??!!?? haha Your great great grandma was Sarah Carmichael? Mine was a Sarah Osborn. My great grandpa was a Ernest Lee Purkey born 1879 in Newton Co. Indiana. Grandpa was a Athol Purkey , who married Ester Holley and lived in Morrocco,Brook, Lowell areas. Do you have any other information on the gang?!! Do you know of any Newton Co. records that might be interesting? Thanks again for writing! Christie
