Long Island Sound’s only high performance dinghy event, the 2009 Heineken High Performance Dinghy Open is returning again this Columbus Day weekend on October 10 & 11, 2009. Hosted by American Yacht Club, in Rye, NY, the 6th running of the Heineken HPDO promises exciting action for all racers and spectators.
Support for the event is generously provided by Heineken. There will be an event polo shirt for each competitor, free beer after racing and lots of exciting prizes. In addition, Heineken will again give each entrant a CD of event and individual boat photos produced by Photoboat (www.photoboat.com). Additional support is also provided by Tribeach Holdings LLC, APS, Ronstan and Zhik.
