Liability insurance

The liability insurance is part of the insurance on the boat. Typically the insurance premium would be around $200. It covers you for the liability but also any damage that you may do to your own boat while sailing or trailering. CYA should be able to put you in touch with a broker. The alternative is to add coverage to your homeowner or renters policy.
