Eastern regional Championship

Ok guys, I have asked my brother who is a member of the Atlanta Yacht Club near Atlanta, Georgia if there was the possibility of them hosting our Eastern Regionals as our original plans seem to have failed this year. He got bck to me and said the club is willing to host them but the only open dates for this year are November 17-18 with a possible open date of November 10-11 depending on our response. Before I committe to anything I need to know your thought on having a regatta that late in the year and that close to Thanksgiving. For those who might consider the trip the club is located right off Interstate 75. What do you say, do i pursue this or do we just let it go for this year.
