This message is basically for the US Association, especially the group located in the Pennsylvania/Ohio and New York area. Joe Jospe contacted me about the Screwball Regatta at Pointe Claire Yacht Club near Montreal over the September 15-16 weekend. He said the event has been growing and last year they had 16 boats at the regatta. He'd like to see as many US boats as possible attend this years event, and I agree. The Canadian Association has supported three of our major regattas this year by attending the Mid-winters, Nationals, and North Americans. I plan on attending and encourage as many fireballers as possible to do likewise. Joe said they are looking to provide accomodations for those who attend but they need some advanced notice so if you are interested please respond back via this message board or contact either Joe Jospe or myself. If anyone is interested in doubling up on my trailor let me know as I can haul two boats with my rig. Lets all try to do this regatta, the competition is great and the hospitality has the reputation of being second to none. Mark your calendars for the Screwball Regatta, September 15-16 Pointe Clair Yacht Club, Montreal.
