Fanfare is quite a casual affair (although the racing is good). No one will be worried if you don't have a measurement certificate or aren't a member of the class association. If you intend to race more frequently next year then we'll try to sign you up.
If you're local to Ottawa, come out to Nepean Sailing Club some Wednesday evening and meet the locals.
