North American Championship Regatta

Sorry it took so long to get confirmation but the dates and location for the North American Champioship Regatta is as follows: July 7-8 at Sayville Yacht Club on Long Island, New York. There Club has a great reputation for hosting these types of regattas and it is centrally located to everyone. I tried to get a three day event from their race committee but they were unable to help us out with that but assured us that getting nine races in over two days will not be a problem with the wind they normally have. Camping will be available at the club so nobody has to worry about where they will stay but there are motels available in the area. I have also been told that New York City is about an hour away for those who want to venture into it for an evening. I hope as many Candaians and Americans can attend this regatta as possible. As the 4th of July will be on a Wednesday many will probably not return to work until Monday making the drive to New York possible for practice racing on Friday. I will have more on this later on. Hope to see all down in Tampa in about two months.
