Missing mast step mount plate

Hi Folks,
I am in the process of purchasing a Fireball for restoration. The mount plate for the mast step is missing and there is a possibility that we will be unable to locate it. What are the options for a replacement? Where can they be purchased? Any idea of costs? Do plans exist in the public domain so as to fabricate a new one?
Any assistance appreciated……Andrew
