Posted by Andrew I am looking to fulfill a childhood dream (some 30 years on) and purchase a Fireball. I am not wanting to spend a lot of money and so am attracted to some of the older wooden boats and maybe do a little restoration. I have found a boat and was wondering if any of you could answer my questions please? Thanks for the input. I was really happy to find this forum active as it seems the Fireball is a bit of a dying breed. Looking forward to assisting in the resurrection! Hope to see you on the water, Andrew – Kelowna, BC

Hi Folks,
- The Hull Number is KC9505. Can anyone tell me who made it; was it a good builder, and any other history?
- It has the spinnaker chute opening in the bow of the boat which I have not seen before. Is this common? Would it not cause issues with flooding in choppy seas? (not a big deal on Okanagan Lake!)
- Any tips on things to look out for besides the obvious?
