Mid-winters and US Nationals

Ok guys it's official. The 2007 Mid-winters and 2007 US National Cahmpionships will be held at Davies Island Yacht Club the first week in March. The exact dates will start the Mid-winters on March 2 and run through March 3-4. Then there will be a lay-day to relax and refresh on March 5 then the US National Championships will begin on Tuesday March 6 and run through March 7-8. This will be a great time and Tampa has wonderfull weather at this time of the year. Combining the two regattas makes the trip well worth the effort to attend and because the last day of racing will be on Thursday there will bbe an oportunity to rest up over niight before leaving on Friday and you will still have the weekend to return home and get some rest before returning to work on Monday. We are in the process of negotiating the site and time for the North Americans and I should have an announcement for them by the beginning of next week. I hope that this early schedule helps people plan their trips better and leads to more attendence at the major regattas. Take care and hope to see you on the water at Florida.
