Pymatuning Sailing Club agreed to host the Nationals this year as we didn't have any real plan or invites from anyone this year. So to make a long story short we had to put this one together fast and the final plan was just recently completed. They will be held at Pymatuning Sailing Club on the Norther end of the lake which borders Pennsylvania and Ohio, about 30 minutes south of Erie, PA. The dates are August 4,5,6 with a 1:00 PM start on Friday August 4. The skippers meeting will be at noon. Registration will be $30.00 per boat with five places being planned on awarding. Meals will be on your own but the club will provide coffee or juice and dounuts in the mornings. Anybody planning on racing is suppose to be a member of the US Fireball Association and hold a valid racing certificated. If you have ever attended the Sam Myers Regatta this is the same club and they will do a good job for us. Again I apologize for the lack of information but it has only been a few weeks since we have finalized this event and there just wasn't enough time to advertise it correctly. Although we have just recently finalized the event there has been a posting on this site for about a month concerning it. If you need directions I can give them to you from just about any direction but if you need them fast please contact me at 724-883-4516 and I will give them to you over the phone. Hope some of you see this as an oportunity to come to Pymatuning and race against the likes of Pat Crump and james Nunn who will be attending from Florida. Not to mention that the local fleet numbers about eight boats now so we should have a nice size fleet but would like to see more.
