Posted by Dave White My name is Dave White and I wish to extend a greeting to you on behalf of the United States Fireball Association. I understand by way of reading your messages on the board that you are either rebuilding a Fireball or in the process of rigging one out. I'm in charge of a high school program in western Pennsylvania that uses Fireballs to teach students how to build then sail them. We have become somewhat of a resource to people in this area in matters of building or repairing Fireballs. As you both live in the US and are possible members of our Association I want to offer any advise you may feel a need to inquire about. We also print a newsletter and send it out to the membership. If you will e-mail me or post your address and e-mail address to me I will see you are placed on our mailing list and kept abreast of events and issues that may be of interest to you as a Fireball owner. Kurt may find the upcoming articles in the Newsletter intersting as we are publishing a series of how-to articles concerning rebuilding a fireball followed by a series of how-to build a Fireball from scratch. Again I wish to welcome you to the class and encourgage you to forward me your mailing information. We may be able to put you in touch with people in your area that own Fireballs or have owned them but are willing to assist you with a restoration project. I look forward to hearing from you.
