Sorry Phil, I didn't mean to speak for everyone that has unsettled debts with ACME, just my own. But this does make the point I was trying to say that there are a lot of people out there that were effected, not just me. "Buyer Beware" is right, just because time has passed dosen't mean everything is OK.

: - As far as ACME goes, and as far as
: I am concerned all debts are
: settled. Any money that may be owed
: for down payments on boats that were
: never built, storage, mold work, etc
: is worth having that project out of
: our lives.
:
: At this point I call Bullsh!t. I
: last ran into Henry several years
: ago at Kingston, when ACME was still
: a recent memory. When I mentioned
: that I was still out of pocket for
: setting up the ACME website, email
: etc, he flipped me off with a
: comment along the lines of "I
: had a lot of company". At that
: point Henry lost his last
: credibility chip with me. Sure, it
: wasn't a lot of money, but would
: have been nice to get it back.
:
: When you wrap up a failed business
: you look your creditors in the eye
: and come to terms with them, whether
: its 10 cents on the dollar or just a
: sincere apology. Or you declare
: bankruptcy and have the trustee do
: it for you. What you DON'T do is
: treat it casually. Once you've
: lost your credibility, its pretty
: tough to get it back.
:
: ACME may be ancient history now, but
: as shown by "Buyer
: Beware", people remember.
