My First Clutch

my nest of four (one was pitched last week) is doing well. One egg looks like it started to hatch, maybe tommorow...yipeeeee.. will be society/spice hybrids... Male spice female society...she is a wonderful momma. It is too bad the cagemates wont giver her space, nest or not they all want to room in at night...oh well she does not mind..though I worry about one of the older ones damaging an egg or injuring a nestling once hatched... I will however allow nature to take its course as my momma bird seems to know what to do and her instinct will protect those little ones the best ..
