My Cordon has been ill, i think? he's been sitting at the bottom of his cage, when on his perch he sits backwards, his chirp is very faint. Just the other day he was making a motion like he was trying to chirp or gasp for air, and he got really puffy. i sat and watched him for while cuz i thought he was dying. then he ate and drank water then seemed fine...unsure of what to do..i have had him for 3 years, next Feb. will be 4, is he just getting old? please advise.
