That is the perfect time to remove the babies. Once the aggresion begins it only gets worse. I had a baby bird that lost all of the feathers around it's neck to the point that the neck muscle was exposed. She survived but when I found her I thought she was going to die of a heartattack. You may want to put a string toy in the cage to help with aggression in the future.
