SICK BIRD!!!!!! help

I have 2 finches and when I came home from work yesterday one of them had shed alot of feathers and I thought it was odd....well, when I came home from work....I had tons of feathers on the floor....I'm really worried...the other bird is fine...I recently bought new food for them b/c the store changed brands, but it was just as expensive and still the better brand....I dont know what to do and I'm worried for my bird....please help!
