All you can do is keep educating people about the breed. All of you know that I am very big on socializing the Fila. I recommend socializing to make the Fila aware of his / her surroundings. A socialized Fila is a stable and confident dog. Socializing a Fila does not mean that he is or will be a friendly dog. The Fila is not a social animal outside of the family and should not be treated as such. I read the posts in this thread and all I can say is god help this guy when his dog does realize he is a Fila. Very sad.
