I am looking for a family friendly/kid friendly/gaurd dog. I have been researching Filas and they seem to make a perfact fit. There is a gentleman who live an hour from me who is giving away a litter for free due to "red mange" now my question is Are these dogs really as good with children as the sound? And is red mange a bad problem or something the dog can live with without suffering? I have read that this dog needs a dominant owner so no worries there.
