Posted by Max Muraoka It never ceases to amaze me that the individuals who attend these functions are in many instances strangers to one another, yet are bonded (enough) through this common thread known as "classmate", and as such, all barriers disappear. This is truly a phenomenon. I'm not sure if this is unique to the Class of '65. I won't try to figure it out but instead will just accept the fact that we have a great graduating class that cares for one another. Granted, not all of us are "party animals", but these events bring together people in fellowship and camaraderie, to simply talk story, or just listen, or just observe, or just to be there, if that's what they enjoy. Also, many of our personalities clash, however, many of our personalities find complimentary ones. We cannot be everything to everyone and no one expects that. The point is that we can all find enjoyment in these events regardless of our idiosyncrasies and personalities if we just showed up and participated. The classmates that came to Las Vegas, I'm sure, found enjoyment and had a nice time. I know I did. On behalf of your fellow classmates from the FHS Class of '65, thank you very much to all of the classmates who put forth the time and effort to conduct the Las Vegas get-together. It was a job well done and greatly appreciated. P.S. Please reference other comments in our "message board" to identify event volunteers, contributors, and donors. They earned and deserve the recognition.

Back from Vegas..........Left my money there but brought back lasting and pleasant memories of a really nice FHS Class of '65 get-together.
