By the way, FHS and Sacred Hearts Academy tied for the top overall state award in the 2003 Hawaii State High School Journalism Awards contest. The Governor also garnered honors as best in the state for feature writing, sports writing, and layout. In 2002 and 2001, the paper won first place honors. FHS has won top high school newspaper awards for five of the past six years!!
