Looking for something to do mid-week? Max Muraoka informs there's a ukulele show staged at the Zoo every Wednesday this month... This Wednesday, July 16, Jake Shimabukuro takes to the stage for about an hour...
If you're interested in going, please meet Max at the Zoo main entrance at 5:00 p.m. Bring your own food and beverages (non alcoholic) or purchase from food concessionaires on the zoo grounds. Bring your own lawn chairs and mats. There's a ukulele give-away, but you need to be present to sign up (between 6:00-6:15) and win (announced during performance). The "Wildest Show" starts from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the zoo's lawn stage.
Call Max - 486-3978 to let him know you're planning to be there, or just show up at the main entrance at 5:00 p.m.
