Some of you who are lucky enough to be in the "early retirement" group or know of anyone who can donate one 31/2 hour stint of your time in the daytime to help out at Bishop Museum, please read information below, and contact TimBostock@artsatmarks.com directly...
Need to like working with children of all ages.
Tim Bostock Production LLC is doing "The Luminarium", a very large inflated sculpture that people enter to be immersed in color and light, at the Bishop Museum Great Lawn for 23 days, from Saturday Dec 14 through January 5.
Tim needs two people every day for stewarding the public through the structure, telling people to take their time, telling kids not to run, explaining the nature of the experience and assuring people it is alright to be surprised and to enjoy it!
There is a website for the company that produced the Luminarium - www.architects-of-air.com As Tim says, "It's very difficult to describe this production without pictures so I hope you can find the site."
Tim would be very grateful if you can commit to at least one 3-1/2 hour stint, either 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. or 1.30-5:00 p.m. on at least one day of the run (again, 22 days, 12/14 through 1/5, closed Christmas).
