As our FHS Class of 1965 website www.Kalihikids.com enters its 10th year we should all give thanks and appreciation to our Webmaster Sid Loo for all the time and effort that he has put forth.
This website is one of the key factors why we remain active and involved as classmates. As it has evolved Sid has allowed us to view not only comments from our classmates through the use of the message board but he has also allowed us to view photos of the various events that we have held. The website provides downloads for reading and viewing for those who may not have the proper program to do this. We even have background music to listen to while browsing through the newsletter, checking what a classmate looked like by going through our high school graduation photos, or the ever so popular scrapbook. To do all of this is not an easy thing and thanks to Sid's expertise we are provided with a website that is simple to navigate and very pleasing to the eye, not to mention all of the info of ongoing and upcoming events of the illustrious Class of 1965.
Our Web editor Amy Saito must also be recognized for providing all of the information that is on our website. She constantly updates all of our planned events and puts out whatever information she receives concerning our classmates, be it a death in the family, a celebration of sorts, a community event that involves classmates, and even some events not directly related to our class but is of interest to our age group. Without all this information there really would not be a need for a website.
With Sid and Amy working together we are blessed with one of the finest class website on the internet. To visit it makes one proud to be member of the FHS Class of 1965. May it go on for another 10 years or more. I don't know how it can be improved but our webmaster always seems to find a way, as he always adds new things especially during the holidays.
Thank you ever so much Sid and Amy
Dennis
