I'm President of a theater club in my high school and we just did FAME the musical, and I must say that it was absolutely phenomenal. I've been in similar plays such as Grease or Footloose, but FAME was perfect for a high school cast to perform. There was a highly diverse cast, and it gave everyone, dancers, singers, actors, a chance to shine and show their true talent. Not only that, but since the characters were our age, it was easy for us to relate to them. I played Serena Katz and it was by far the most thrilling and exciting experience of my life. I absolutely LOVE this show, and to be honest I had never even heard of it until a few months ago but I sincerely believe that it is my favorite show after all the years that I have been doing theater. That's pretty much all I have to say. :o)
