62 Generator / voltage regulator

I had an extra NOS generator 25 amp for my 62 and the original finally went. I replaced it and everything is fine but I happen to have another generator that has the same part number and says 30 amp. My repair book shows the 62 has a 25 amp and 30 amp with the same part number. Is this a problem to just throw a 30 amp in?
