If you filled the radiator to the very top, a small degree of puke is normal. Newer cars have an overflow tank and a 2-way radiator cap so any additional coolant can escape to the tank when the engine warms up, then flow back into the radiator when the engine cools.
How far down was the coolant level once the engine cooled off again?
